It's about two girls who are very different but they become best friends and help each other out through some difficult times. I would recommend this book to other third graders or to anyone who likes a good story about good friends!Later, Grace returned the same sort of plain blue book. When I asked how she liked it, she said she loved it! Here's what she said:
The story is about four boys at a camp in Maine who are looking to find treasure. But they don’t find treasure, they find some thing very different, involving a ghost named John Bloodworth. The story is about how the boys help the ghost find a missing relative who was a real treasure-burying pirate. It's a very good book because there’s lots of adventure in it.These blue books started out as paperback books, just like Junie B Jones, the Magic Tree House, or American Chillers. But some publishing company decided to make the covers sturdier so they took out the paperback pages and rebound them. They took off the paper cover and glued it to a harder cover.
These are wonderful stories that many kids like. Give them a try - you may like them, too!
